I'm at a loss today...heartbroken for a fellow blogger...wondering how much heartbreak and despair can be placed upon one person...wondering how life can change in the blink of an eye...yet the world still goes on around us...wondering how a person suffering so much pain can show so much resilence and strength...my heart goes out to the courageous lisa who lost her gorgeous son recently and now tragically...

even though we are living in a rental house, one thing i really wanted to change about grady's roomwas the existing ceiling fan. it was SO unattractive, and not fitting for a kids space.i wanted something with a little more personality. i know--MORE personality than a ceiling fan? not hard to do, right?since most of the items in his room have a traditional feel to them, i wanteda light fixture that...

Just wanted to show you this uniquely designed dining room chair that I've had on file for sometime now...I don't know about you but it works for me...I mean have you ever seen something so [out there!] this I think is creativity at it's finest. It certainly would be a talking point at a dinner party and I think my family would have trouble choosing which chair to sit on each night...well I'm loving...

as promised- a few better images of a recently completed e-design planfor a formal living room turned into a library/music room...but first, some before pictures.as you can see, the room is large, has high ceilings, and is open to the foyer.the walls were already a dark red, so i knew the homeowners would be open to painting them an equally dark (but much less vivid) charcoal grey. and, the AFTER...

How refreshing does this kitchen look with it's blue and little pops of green[loving those stools] I could also imagine it with gorgeous Villa Maison vintage stools and dining chairs to go with that beautiful rug and then I think I would change the lights to two or perhaps three beautiful pendent lights to complete the look...hmm...yeh...just saying! It really is refreshing though on this yet again...

admit it.you do it too-judge the interior of a house based on the way it looks from the outside...i do it all the time. i love driving through historic and high-end neighborhoods, taking in all of the beautiful architecture. sadly, i am usually disappointed when i catch a glimpse of the interiors, as most homes are  not as glorious on the inside as they are on the outside.i am fairly certain...

Wouldn't this been the most ideal place to sit and creatively write from...simply gorgeous the use of colour is sensational...loving it!!! That beautiful jug and glass is to die for and don't get me started on the beauty of that pencil holder...loving it all! Hope you all have lovely weekend image via Tum...
