Gorgeous inspiration boards for you all...

Relax and enjoy...

A sense of calm within...

Today I leave you with a quote by Shannon Fricke, Sense of Style Space, that I truly believe in...

"WHEN YOU DECORATE YOUR INTERIOR IN A WAY THAT EMBODIES A TRUE SENSE OF WHO YOU ARE AND REFLECTS THE LIFE AND THE ENERGY THAT PULSE WITHIN ITS FRAMEWORK, YOU ARE CREATING A HOME TO NURTURE THE SOUL..."

HAVE A GREAT DAY!!! Images via Vintage Room

A SILVER LINING...

Posted by dasfseegdse Senin, 03 Januari 2011 0 komentar

I have a love of all things silver, a metalic edge lends glitter and lustre to any look.

Metalic finishes sit comfortably in both modern and classic interiors...

Every room should have a silver lining...it's an easy way too add polish, poise and sophistication...{love the dresser, another must find of mine}

Metalics will enliven any room, and add shimmer and shine, they work best with a neutral palette and then by adding a splash of dramatic colour you can achieve the look of pure opulance as in the image above...love it [have you seen the tub...need i say more!}

The beauty of such a simple colour scheme creates a look of glamour, positioning your pieces near an open window makes the most out of their reflective quality, the bathroom above is one of my very favourites, I absolutely adore the tub...I love it love it love it!

Have a wonderful tuesday xx

MY LOVE FOR MIRRORED VENETIAN FURNITURE!

Posted by dasfseegdse Minggu, 02 Januari 2011 0 komentar

I have for a long time had a love for mirrored venetian furniture, from consoles to dutchesses like the one above, to the beautiful mirrors below... [how gorgeous is this image, right down to the pink high heels}

so much so that now I own a number of pieces including mirrored side tables and side dresser drawers to 2 beautifull venetian jewellery armoires...

I also have a love for kartell ghost chairs, especially used with my love of mirrored furniture like the image above [be still my beating heart!!!}

Gorgeous colours like the ones above work effortlessly to add opulence and granduer!

One piece of furniture I don't have would be this stunning mirrored treasure chest, how much beauty would that add to my home... I can only but dream... as these pieces are very hard to source.

Thankyou to all my visitors who stop by and leave your lovely comments and to all my new followers, I hope to continue to inspire you all throughout the year that is " 2011" xx

Be Inspired, think outside the home you live in...the perfect surroundings for quite reflection.
{This is one of my most loved outdoor rooms, would love to have one of these at my home}

An outdoor space should be a haven, a place to escape... these subtle hues add a sense of elegance. {love the dresser drawers}

Gorgeous colour, the essence of a peaceful place.

Pure Elegance and Grace,{ I love the white roses}

I Love everything about this image, to me it's everything i'm longing for right now, gorgeous coastal blue colours and beautiful glistening sunshine! It has not stopped raining here on the goldcoast for as long as i can remember, and when it's not raining it's cloudy, so please bring on the sunshine and the endless days of glistening sunshine! But until then,I have this gorgeous image for inspiration...and what glorious inspiration it holds!
